Have you ever taken multimillion dollar computers off to EMI testing labs like CKC for EMI testing? I have, several times. The onus is on the manufacturer to get the testing done and get FCC approval and CE mark for the EU. If you don't, they can stop shipment for you. Take a look at any monitor, CPU box, anything electronic, and you'll see the FCC and CE marks. You also need to provide a list of clocks to them, and their frequencies and functions. If they found out that there was a fake double freq. clock, they would be all over you like a cheap suit. It's you that doesn't know how the process works.
