[Since I paid $40 bucks]

When I first bought this stock about a year ago (at the recommendation of my broker, to make a quick buck, I bought my first block at $21) I was amazed at the technical competence and the intelligent exchange that was demonstrated by the AMATI Followers.

That was on the Motley Fool (and I resisted the same broker's advice to sell at $36 for some reason). When Pat left and came to SI, so did I and alot of other people.

I just want to say that this thread is still great. Even the bickering level is highly technical and well supported by facts.
Go and have a look at some of the more ridiculous threads, like CAWS if you want to read stupid bickering people's comments (another one of my more brilliant purchases).

The bottom line is accountability. You can rely on the caliper of quality on this thread that will keep you informed as well as entertained, not to mention a few steps ahead of the crowd whenever the stock either goes down (when I buy some more) or goes up when I sit back and smoke a big fat cubano (grown in Honduras, of course)...

Keep up the good work all. Oh and Pat, don't think that the street is as slow as you recently have indicated. Believe me, there are plenty of sizable positions out there and several brokers around town who have been buying up larger and larger holdings for their clients. The stock has gotten stronger and stronger in the last year. I don't know anyone who has sold off anything significant recently, only people who have bought more each time that the time was right.
