re: the air still sucks in LA at least a third of the year. Not as bad as it does in the NorthEast. L.A. has cleaned up a lot over the last decade. Eric, you are right...its improved a lot since I left...was that planned? ;~)) Check out the link below....there were several cities with more pollution days than LA. in 1999.
