Art, This so-called buy/hold strategy that you use is great if you are managing millions and you invest in consumer staples. I see the buy/hold approach as propaganda -- as a way for the investment houses to fleece the average Joe. I can't believe how many people cling to these tech mutual funds with that same attitude.
