Listen Up Thread!! Consumer protection warning follows!

CNBC is the W.S informational channel par excellence.

I've been trying to tell folks that in my posts on SI or Yahoo for several years. And am frankly amazed how few seem to GET IT even after repeated injections of posted truth serum!!

Instead they go right back for their FIX.

BUT, don't stop with CNBC. The same profile is clearly visible in the rest of the financial press.

And the more you buy into what they're selling. Yes it's all informationals. And they take you right "down the rabbit hole" with Alice!

This is NOT some conspiracy that's suddenly creeped up on individual investors. It's been the W.S./W.S. financial press' agenda for the public as long as we've had a stock exchange!! Why do you think the numerous research studies done over the decades show only a small percentage consistently make money in the markets?!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So what the heck do you do? The usual pissing and moaning I see so much of all over the web sure ain't gonna cut it boys and girls!

But positive and decisive action on YOUR part will.

I've only found ONE solution that really works:

PULL THE PLUG!!! CANCEL THE SUBSCRIPTIONS!!!

Go to the Betty Ford Clinic if you have to.<G>

I've fastidiously refrained from watching, listening or reading it for years. And in large part due to eliminating all that disinformation and noise my performance has goes through the roof compared to what it was in the 80s and early 90s.

Does anybody here remember the great advertisement lead in?

"YOU NEVER GET RICH PLAYING ANOTHER MAN'S GAME."

That's what happens when you watch CNBC and listen to the W.S. beholden and connected media to get inside your head and influence your decision making in accordance with THEIR agenda.

And make no mistake. That agenda is to make them and the small %age of investors who are their big big $$$$ clients. The ones who pay the W.S. pipers big big investment banking AND advisory fees.

HELLO!!!

How can anyone believe that these people are going to give you good investment advice FOR FREE on the boob tube while their big money clients are paying huge fees for that?!

Worked as a W.S broker with one of the top houses for 6 years. Believe me, I know of what I speak.

Folks, like me and a few others on the web, just do YOUR own INDEPENDENT DD and research. Sure some of us who've been doing it for years can help you get started. But don't copy anybodys trading or analysis style.

The most important investment you'll ever make in the time you take to slowly develop your own approach. Don't worry if it's simple at first. Have the patience to find out what works best for your individual temperment, circumstances and natural mental skills.

In time, you'll begin to seen when and where to trade the contrary to the bigger W.S. pump and dumps.<g>

Cheers,
