Dan, Don't forget that Intel makes about 100 consumer impressions for every one that AMD makes. It's a really bad idea to start lying to the consumer. What if, for instance, a consumer buys a PC labeled 2 GHZ, finds out it isn't, and decides to sue AMD? How does that look in the morning newspaper? Intentionally mislabeling performance? That idea could dig a public relations hole so deep the AMD brand would be somewhere below Firestone Tires. John
