Brian,

1. Cary has been consistent.
2. He has freely shared his successful money management strategy with anyone who could read.
3. He can certainly be direct. I would call him a clear and precise communicator even if others might describe the communications as acerbic.
4. I would never characterize his posts as "rude". After all, the Internet and especially SI, is for a free sharing, discussion and debate of ideas. I've yet to see Cary attack a person as opposed to the content of a post.
5. I wouldn't dream of asking you to cool it; or for that matter, Tito, Jacob, AdvocatedEvil, or any of the others that freely share their ideas and approaches to making money in AMAT or the sector.
6. Fewer posts by Cary would, IMO, be a loss.
7. SI does provide an outstanding IGNORE facility to deal with situations where one believes that a specific poster is unlikely to add value at any time.
