Then they bought a product that was properly labeled, by today's industry standards. Funny I don't remember you clamoring to change the rating system when AMD had the Mhz lead. Then it made sense, right?

The idea of a new standard won't fly. First you won't get the OEM's to participate, and they do 90% of the industry advertising. So AMD would have to go it alone, and Intel does at least 20 times as much advertising as AMD. It's pissing into the wind, all you will do is confuse folks that might have bought products with AMD processors.

And mislabeling the products, to deceive the consumer, is lunacy. It's a sure ticket to distructive publicity. You risk destroying the AMD brand forever.

Back to the drawing board, Danny.
