Intel's balance sheet took a $15 Billion hit this year. An intelligent riposte to my post was was "you haven't isolated damage due to the stock market's collapse - and that is big part of what happened".

But the truth is that, for whatever reason, Intel's balance sheet took a $15 Billion hit this year, and at least $5 Billion of that will eventually show up as a hit to earnings. AMD's balance sheet actually improved during the same period.

Deal with it, and try not to get too deep into your "black is white - they're obscuring THE TRUTH" mantra.

$15 Billion is gone, gone, gone, would be a more reasonable chant.
