Its one thing when nature causes an extinction, its another when we do it. Except for the fact that we can consciously control what we do what is the real difference? The effect is the same. And my point was to demostrate that the earth is not as fragile as you portray it. If it was it would have broken long before we came around. The difference between you and I is that I am not willing to risk pushing the situation much further... I'm not willing to risk what you would call "not pushing the situation much further" would entail. Tim
