Les, if memory serves, most of the moves 3-days after a scheduled Fed rate cut have been contrary to the general trend of the market. If the market has been going up, it will move down for 3-days. If it has been going down, it will move up. I'll have to check into it further, but this is my recollection. May shouldn't count really, since the Fed really did some hanky-panky the day after the cut.
