Hi Drea - we are able to pick wild blackberries around here on the bike paths, so we had pancakes with wild blackberries several times this summer for supper. We also went blueberry picking about a month ago. Then of course it was pancakes with fresh blueberries. They were the sweetest blueberries I'd ever had (and the first time I'd ever picked them). I made a great blueberry pie from a recipe I got off the web. I remember my best friends mother (this is when I was 10) made this great blueberry pie. Double crusted - she always sprinked suger on top before baking. Man was it good. Wishing I had a slice right now - pie for breakfast works for me! Have a great weekend! legs
