Do you really want to argue that perjury, obstruction of justice, misleading a federal court, submitting false affidavits and misuse of office which Clinton was guilty of are not impeachable offenses? I think that's unwise. Moreover, he was impeached, so they are impeachable offenses. But this is a political decision and offense and in the end the Senate found removal under these facts was not warranted.
