Mojie,

If someone believes in a technology rather than
a particular company, then the sensible thing to
do is to buy a spectrum of stocks (in ADSL it
might be WSTL/PAIR/AMTX --and ORCKIT/AWARE when
they go public). The key is to allocate the
cash sensibly to the different companies. WHen
biotech began in the mid-80's (and I had no
clue as to which company was going to make it big,
I got into a couple of companies that went bankrupt,
and one (AMGN) that made up in spades for the others.
Unfortunately, I had less in AMGN than in the others.

AMTX is, in my opinion, the biggest leverage play for
xDSL, PAIR and WSTL have other products, AWARE also does
Wavelet software, ORCKIT ?. But thats no guarantee that
they will be the big winners.
