He doesn't have to make up a "crisis" in order to get things done Scuse me? Bush has done just that with Social Security, to support privatization, without ever mentioning that privatization is going to cost money. And his "discussion" of the Tax Cut (claimed size 1.3 trillion; actual size 1.8 trillion and rising with each new bill passed) used fairytale accounting and passed a bill that is not implementable as it stands. The fairytale accounting is already coming unglued due to the economic slowdown and lowered government revenues.
