Agreed. Most people daytrading treat it as a hobby. As I said in the first post here, hobbies are expensive. Others, while not treating it as a hobby do manage to use it to fullfill a need for action. But on the other side of this is a small group of people who are serious about the profession of trading. That group is who this thread was started for. Those that come into the business without a plan are doomed to fail, as they would be in any other business.
