America doesn't "consume" the world's resources. We create, communicate and deliver them.

That statement is just one of those mindless spinning rhetorical platitudes restated in the mainstream liberal press over and over.

America is the engine of prosperity for the rest of the world. Our ability to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and save those dying from disease and sickness is unparalleled. These are direct effects of being the wealthiest, most prosperous, most generous, nation on the planet.

The foundation upon which our wealth generating capacity exists, lies in are ability to extract, create and provide energy for ourselves and the rest of the planet.

Kyoto was a pathetically failed communist like attempt to control the worlds energy output and distribution. Nations which couldn't model a decent food production system, pretend they have the knowledge and skill to model the energy output of every country on earth.

Those believing "all knowing" controlling world bureaucrats are more dangerous than a thousand smoke-stacks to the health and prosperity of our planet.
