Hey Peter, I have a big pile of cheaply acquired BGO that's been just sitting there for a while. It is either an embarrassment or an opportunity, eh! If it suddenly, or even eventually, becomes not-so-cheap, I will be quite happy. The Magadan project looks like a real winner, the only queasiness I have is the mechanics of getting profits or gold out of Russia. That country makes Capone et al look like Benedictine monks. I guess they call that "country risk"! If that deposit were in the US, our share price would have three digits. Casale is not happening without a whole new range of gold price, IMO. Forget it, it should be valued like a huge underwater call option, fortunately with no holding cost. Refugio...ouch. That certainly isn't supporting the share price! Regards, John PS I see you canoe, I was addicted to whitewater (Eastern) for a while, intensive treatment at Betty Ford saved me but the craving is there... |
