Mary, I missed you.
Quite frankly, Sir Auric did a second rate job filling in for you during your absence. Aside from his poor potty training he simply doesn't have your flair for unabashed facts-to-the-wind bashing that you excel at. Also, Sir Auric's writing style leaves much to be desired: mundane, heavy-handed and loaded with insults. Pretty boring really.
On the other hand I find your writing style basically inimitable. A fascinating cross between Joan of Arc loaded with conflict at every turn (with Ashton, lawyers, bashers, facts, etc). Indeed, both here and in Philadelphia conflict seems bent on stalking you like a deranged Madonna fan. Conflict is the spice of life, but hey; lost luggage, scorching heat, crummy airports, Judge Judy, biker chick attire in the courtroom not to mention all those trees that must die because of Ashton's "scamminess". With just a bit more imagination I think you'd make a fine novelist. I find it small wonder that the Ashton lawyers can't compete with you. You're a tough act to follow.
