reading today's barrons...noted in the guest column towards the back an article about the closing of the gold window 30 years ago tomorrow (8/13/71)...got me to take another look at the below weekly london bullion chart which goes back to 1971 (this chart is based on the weekly closing price of london gold - i.e. a line chart)

if ya draw in a line from the 1980 high to now ya have the top of the flag/ pennet and starting the bottom line from 1971 and touching the 1999 low give you a formation which says: "no mas".....no more...but line can be drawn any which way....but it's interesting, what with tomorrow's anniversary of the closing of the gold window....any comments??
