No, I wasn't thinking just dress or mannerisms. Those can be deceptive. Has to be something more than that. Unless, of course, it is so extreme as to be unmistakable.

I hadn't heard about the corn rows case. There must have been something more to the story than that--in most such cases there's a lot of stuff going on that triggers the final episode.
