Paul, RE:"Then you better WRITE OFF this quarter for AMD - because they keep SLIPPING their faster parts - September is the latest "leak" =- and that will be near the END of this quarter." I've already have written off AMD and Intel for the next quarter and more... If AMD was 30 I would sell...unfortunately it's not and probably close to a bottom...so I'll hold. What do you think the stock would do if AMD actually only lost a couple cents on the Q? Intel may be able to salvage another Q or 2 without a lot of loss but after that it's crunch time if the computer business doesn't pick up. IMHO.
