EEG in Talks With PCCW to Supply Music Content to NOW H.K. Aug 08, 2001 - 14:54:24 HKT Quamnet News Service Emperor Entertainment Group (8078) is in talks with Pacific Century CyberWorks (0008) on the provision of content to its now.com.hk portal, and expects to strike a deal within the next one to two months, said Gordon Cheng, managing director of EEG's records division. EEG expects to provide NOW with old melodies and some newly released pop songs, and in return, the company would get more publicity, he said. PCCW is expected to announce a second batch of NOW content partners, which may include text-based media companies, before the end of the year.
