Sorry warlock, I remain unconvinced. And no, I've never worked for a Microsoft competitor, so your claim that those displaying venom toward XP are "all self proclaimed competitors." I've got Win 98 and Win2000 installed in a dual-boot configuration. Win2000 sucks less than 98, I must admit, but 98 runs more of my Windows apps. So is Microsoft claiming that XP will be less incompatible than 2000 with existing applications and devices? If so, they really should bring that out in their marketing campaign: "New Windows XP. It sucks less than Windows 2000, and is less incompatible. Upgrade now. Product activation specialists are standing by. [May break your Java apps]." Dave
