Dipy: Increasing the margin requirements would have been a good idea, since a lot of the dot com fluff was leveraged with core holdings from companies such as Cisco.

As far aa Greenspan is concerned, his biggest mistake was overreacting to the Y2K scare and not keeping interest rates high enough. In turn, this set off a corrective phase when Greenspan increased rates to compensate for the Y2K easing. This of course was the first old fashio
ned cyclical phase to our economy in a very long time.

And that is one of the reasons, I unloaded in April of 2000, simply because I felt that there would be a correction in the market--although not the size that I anticipated.

Currently, I am holding water on my largest semi purchase, NSM, which I switched into from LSI for tax purposes in Dec of 2000.

As far as your target price in the three years, the stock may be at 30 in three years, but it will be much higher sometime during the interim period.
