COOL, very cool. GOP Takes Early Lead In Campaign Funds
washingtonpost.com
Republicans have opened a sizable lead over Democrats in collecting campaign contributions for the 2002 congressional elections, gaining an early and potentially significant edge in what could turn into a referendum on President Bush's first two years in office.

the National Republican Congressional Committee raised $38.6 million in the first six months of 2001, compared with $26 million during that same period in 1999. House Democrats, on the other hand, raised $18 million this year --
just $1 million more than they did in 1999.

WEll maybe the dems can bring out their big shooter, the Harlem Rapist. Just don't let and blue dresses in.
