Good morning Peter, The late '60s also has its share of over-confidence and we saw the results during the '70s. What's also interesting is that companies involved in the telecom equipment business have always had to deal with huge business cycles. The Telecoms are buying or they're not. They move as their own herd. CSCO should have studied DSC Communications' business history if they wanted to see what was going to happen. Lucent's history was shrouded by ATT until it was spun off, so nobody really understood it was part of this same boom/bust cycle. Well, now that they've been 'busted' there's always the next 'boom' to look forward to! Best regards, Tom
