If it were not for the closeness of the Fed meeting, I would be on guard for a surprise cut here, justified by a weak consumer (retail sales) release tomorrow. I guess they can't though because it would look so panic'y. Only so many bullets left in that gun anyway. -bg

Treasuries see another cut, then rates going up by December and again into next summer. They are betting on a fast turnaround (aka 'V bottom').
