Re: Gate widths below the 70nm level In 1999, AMD was showing showing electron microscope photos of chips with transistors with 50nm gates FABed at their submicron development facility. They did say they used a 193nm stepper they were evaluating. They can probably make them in volume when they ramp their .13 SOI. That was 2 years ago.
