Mr. Watson,

I downloaded the xls file from the IEPA website (where this data came from). While the information is correct, Portland General Electric, and the City of Seattle sold little power to CA. An argument can be honestly made that they don't even belong on the list (based on the amount of power they sold to the State).

On the other hand, Powerex, Sempra, LA DWP, Dynegy, and Duke all sold about the same amount of electricity to CA during the 1st Quarter (according to the IEPA).

IMHO blame is already beginning to shift away from out of state generators to those who supply gas.
