Paul, the market is back to his historical volatility and capitalization growth of 4 to 10% a year. To many were spoiled for same volatility during one week or less. To many it is a grind but for other is back to the old days.

As to the tech stocks they may languish for a while and when earnings will start picking up they will be hit with new wave of selling. So gains will be moderate at best even if a recovery will ensure.

All those holding retail stocks since last year with gains of 50% to 100% are going happy to the bank by now. <GGG>

Remember we are still in high employment teritory
