Don't know George, there seems to be a disconnect starting between the lease rates and POG, too early to tell for sure, but that's my initial read on it.
Speaking of which, they mentioned the lease rate/POG relationship on CNBC.
Had just noticed a post on gold monitor barely in time to catch a small segment on CNBC (YUK!). They had the lady who penned the Barons article on along with a gent from a gold fund.
Sure wish I would have bumped up GG holdings the way he talked it up.
Was amazed to hear from Einhorn and friends some of the same arguments I (used to, preignore) hear from chihuahua town, for ex. they don't need a higher price for gold because modern technology has reduced the cost of finding it. That bull shit stood out from other comments from Cheryl S Einhorn and the talking heads on cnbc, much of their talk was a rehash of the "Fools Gold" article in Barons CSE authored, failure of Washington accord, value investors putting XAU up, etc etc.
Made me wonder if they read and liked the bs lower cost of mining argument of a certain poster.
Guess they didn't like Sliders arguments
Guess they don't fit the agenda.
JMHO, and surprised they mentioned the yellow dog at all. I wish they would stop mentioning gold/gold stocks because I then feel obligated to watch CNBC and that is something I find disgusting.
IMHO, they better watch out that the yellow dogs Golden Fangs don't get stuck in their Shorts, sic'em Elvis, ggg
