Interesting (if you can call it that) news release from Market News Publishing dated Aug. 1, 2001.
To quote: "Further to its news release of April 12, 2001 Conquistador Mines ltd. reports that it has been unable to attain funding for its Colombian operations and as a result, a liquidator has been appointed to attend to the dissolution of Corona Goldfields S.A. The Company does not expect to receive any proceeds from the liquidation.

Conquistador is pursuing discussions regarding the financing of its platinum-palladium property interests.
However, to date the Company has not yet been successful in obtaining financing or securing a joint venture partner. Should the Company not be successful in either raising additional financing or obtaining a joint venture partner in the near term, then the Company's ability to retain its properties and continue its overall business operations is in doubt.
The 'fat lady' is singing pretty loud.
I'll give CMG till the end of year...the rest is all
a write-off....Maybe someone can explain why anyone would
but this stock even at .75 cents.
