What a boring day. Watched the 'action' for a couple of hours then went back to bed.

All the ducks seem to be lining up for a significant market break sometime after Labor day. I'm betting down.

- Low volume: Nothing compelling out there

- Low Volatility: No fear

- US Dollar showing strains: Gold starting to creep up

- Overseas weakness: Are we immune?

- Real estate bubble about done: What else is there to stimulate economy?

Question for market historians. Did the Japanese stock market crash before or after their real estate bubble collapsed? Maybe they dropped together. Anybody know?
