Management feels Magna has to cut a deal with GMST due to their blocking patents and deal with NYRA. They've created high barriers to entry via deal with UBET. Expect to announce advertising deals with marquee advertisers soon Nielson project on track and should be ready by yr end. Highly confident that they will win case against Echo Star. Said that false statements by Ergen were partly responsible for stocks volitility. They expect to get a verdict from the ITC mid 02 and go directly to federal court for damages, hopefully treble damages if willfull infringement is proved. They are running SkyMall ads on the ipg to gage viewer's responses. They are renegotiating AOL deal because they want changes as well as Time Warner does. Boylan feels that remote Home Health care monitoring will be huge. Company is well positioned via their own patents and patents they've aquired or licensed. Won't have to write of goodwill as of 01/02 will have aprox 500M positive impact to earnings. The rest is alot of stuff we've heard before. I was disappointed in the fact that sequential ad revenue growth fell below 100%. Hopefully with the deals in the pipeline the sequential growth will ramp back up. 100
