Had this thread subject-marked, but hadn't used it in a long, long time. But then again, not much has been breaking out, has it? Oh, well.

Anyway, I'll offer NZRO as a comebacker. It got clobbered like every other internet stock, getting trounced down to the 50-cent mark and is in danger of losing its Nasdaq listing. Me thinks it'll pull a wrabit from its hat and get something out newsworthy to get it back above a buck. There's been three moves to boost revenue:

1) Emphasis on its Platinum paid ISP, which is a great dial-up service . With broadband and DSL seeminly in a stall, NZRO offers a fine alternative (banner ad-free) to AOL and the others.

2) Throughout the month of September it's offering the Platinum service to its free-user base. This should markedly increase paid subscriptions.

3) An agreement is now on the table to merge with Juno. This, too, will help its paid subscriber base.

So maybe it'll breakout and pull the hill again. It once touched the 40-dollar mark. I don't know if it'll get that high (probably not), however it could see double digits again if all goes well.
