I don’t know how you think the cause of individual rights is furthered by supported by the Palestinian power structure. The elite of the PLO are all thieves in socialist clothing. There is no accounting for the billions that have been showered on them and practically nothing to show for it except lavish villas around the Mediterranean – and of course weapons. If the PLO succeeds in its primary goal of ridding the entire country of Jews, what kind of government would be set up? A constitutional democracy respectful of individual rights? Don’t be so naïve.

One of the many ironies of the situation is that if the Palestinians did nothing they would get their way in a few years. The population of Israel is 50.1% Jewish – and dropping. Demographics are their most powerful weapon – not Yasar’s bombs. Cource if the Palestinian people woke up to that fact, why would they need the PLO? Arafat would rather see the who middle east burn than lose power.
