Thank goodness that IT frees us from the mundane repetitive tasks. I suppose your workday is limited to trading hours or some subset thereof because of the employment of so much "smart" technology. <vbg>

The BLS has to have been employing psychotropics to come up with all those productivity numbers ... guess that's what happens when you can't fire anyone for anything. <ng>

IT has been the recipient of the most generous corporate welfare -- it might be a little indirect, but it was welfare all the same.

OT: In a "current topic" Bible study we have been having we are looking at "fulfilling work" or working in light of one's faith. In the second chapter of the study guide it talked about temptations and why one wouldn't expect to see as many christians in professions such as "entertainers, stockbrokers, attorneys, etc." given all the pressures.

I had to giggle a little at the list: Tempatation is, of course, universal.
