Pluvia, for a long time, I was quite bearish on this company, actually thinking they may go under. They survived (at a huge dilution cost to existing shareholders, and luckily, I was not one of them). As far as I know, they have not "lost operatotship", they created a new company that includes Arakis (or State Petroleum). Now, I am not sure how familiar you are with the middle east, but there, personal relationships and understanding of the local special customs is paramount to smooth operation.
