"Mr. Glen A. Tarrant, President of saxon Petroleum, Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Directors to the Board.
The Corporation welcomes Mr. William L. Dorn, Charman of the Board of Forest Oil Corporation in Denver, Colorado, and Mr. Richard Pollard, Director and investment advisor with Odlum Brown Limited in Victoria, British Columbia. Mr. Dorn will become Chairman of the Board of Saxon Petroleum, Inc. Both gentlemen bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to enhance the Board's exisiting expertise.
Mr. Dorn graduated from Phillips Academy, Andover, Massachusetts in 1967 and the University of Texas in 1971. He has been a Director of Forest Oil Corporation since 1982 and has worked for Forest in increasing levels of responsibility for over 25 years, including their Land and Explorarion departments.
Mr. Pollard has significant experience in the investment field, with an emphasis on the oil and gas sector. He has a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Washington as well as a Master's degree in Commerce from the University of Toronto." |
