I totally agree with you that such a product would eliminate the
anti's main argument. As an investment however, I still remain
skeptical that the public will accept the product. The time delay
is a concern but the cost is probably my biggest concern. We
used to sell a product which was a single gun "safe" that was
opened electronically in only a couple of seconds in total darkness
(much like RGB's). It originally retailed for $149.99. We sold "0".
We marked it down to $129.99. We sold "1". We finally marked it
down to $99.99 "(less than the price of an RGB lock and adapter grip)
and sold the remaining 10 over the course of 3 or 4 months. I am
afraid that RGB has a great product but little market for it. Just
my humble opinion.

P.S. Many people are very peculiar about the appearance of their guns.
The RGB lock certainly does not enhance the visual appeal.
