Au contraire. On the contrary, that is. Bush is a nice guy to hang out and play golf with with but that's irrelevant. The huge soft money and special interests behind him are nefarious, dishonest and contrary to the American Spirit, esp. corruptive and terrible for the environment. I know exactly what I care about and how to judge a president. I had much higher hopes for Bush and Cheney. I didn't know Bush well but respected Cheney. Now they have confirmed my worst suspicions, myself and many others. The 52% negative polling numbers prove this. Republican Orange County 55% negative. Moderate Republicans are generally turned off and beginnig to realize they need tp speak out. Democrats are not even bothering to be polite because why should they be? The international community is paralyzed about how to deal with the new administration because they haev little respect for them. Bush is more and more isolated and very few is any of hit policies and programs are what the majority of people want. Some the vast majority are even dead set against. This is no way to try and run a country, a dysfunctional dictatorship maybe. Bottomline, the world realizes Bush is eithere wrong-headed, dishonest or both.
