Cash is a really good idea.

How about non-U.S. bond funds ?

See BEGBX, RPIBX charts.

Someone said the only sectors doing well were regional banks and S&Ls and selected health care.
Also Defense stocks seem okay.

That's not many sectors, and the sectors aren't that big (if you exclude big pharama)
I like cash and government bonds.

I also like being short semis and tech indexes. (like SMH, SOX)
