AMD is waging a price war with themselves and Intel is still getting top dollar. Right! and you wanna buy some swampland? Face it, Intel is package dealing to large OEMs to keep AMD out. You don't see it in pricewatchitdrop because they are keeping prices up in retail markets. RE:"And in the meantime Intel is introducing a new speed grade, the 2GHz, that will claim the high end. AMD - Only 600MHz behind I know that...I guess you forget the I came up with Mhz sells (TM-McMannis) many years ago? You guys act like this is some new revelation. Like I'm now supposed to figure out want you've just realized... I'm stated that I was afraid that despite being a crappy chip, the P4 would run away on MHz alone...and AMD is helping them right along with delays on the Palomino and Hammer. Don't get me started on those stock sales last Q. Jim
