I don't know how you engage them to "fix" them- except to be an example yourself, of what you think is right. After all, I'm a relativist. I can't say that what they are doing is absolutely wrong, but I KNOW I don't like it, and I sure as Hell wouldn't live there under any inducements. My mother offered to pay my way back for another trip, but no way. I found it too icky the first time. And I don't want to reward their system in any way. That said I wouldn't want to hurt them either. And I certainly wouldn't want to hurt me, or my country, in order to hurt or help them. They will change if they want to change. If they don't they will be a menace to us.
