The US is already a tax haven for the world's rich which is one reason they all want to move here. Have you noticed that it's also a haven for the world's poor? They all want to move here too. Even more than the rich. Because of all the opportunity this terrible, unfair system offers them that their own socialistic economies don't. Such thinking would bankrupt SS, Medicare, Education and even military programs We had an Army and Navy before te income tax existed at all. I'm sure we could find money for the Air Force without it. But you're right: SS, Medicare, and Federal AId to Education would probably have to go. Bye bye. OTOH, public education existed before income tax too, so it could be funded. Also the rich have so many tax loop-holes and write-offs they never pay close to 35% The IRS disagrees with you. But you already know that. You're just pretending ignorance.
