The Aqivo 1.6 Wireless Information Server provides mobile employees with secure, real-time access to groupware, messaging, documents, databases, and enterprise applications.
This latest version of the Aqivo Wireless Information Server supports wireless access to Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange based email, calendar, contacts, and tasks, as well as the ability to access files residing on a LAN or local drive. Aqivo 1.6 provides the user with alerts, notifications, and peer-to-peer messaging, regardless of carrier. The Aqivo 1.6 Wireless Information Server supports a broad range of devices equipped with WML or HTML micro-browsers.
New in version 1.6 is enhanced device support for HTML browsers, opening the wireless data access to a host of new devices running HTML compatible microbrowsers. This version also features an enhanced one-touch installation and configuration process which enables organizations to wirelessly-enable their corporate intranet quickly and reliably.
