That "hogwash" is a very simplified way to explain that the wealthy DO pay the taxes in America. The left's pandering to everyone with the tax breaks for "the richest 1%" is shameful. Why do you feel that the rich should pay for everyon's problems? Note that I am not saying we should have no sliding tax scale, but to say that it is unfair to the poor (or even imply that it is) is a disgrace. The following line is a flat out lie or severe mis-information on your behalf. What specifically are these tax breaks? "Also the rich have so many tax loop-holes and write-offs they never pay close to 35% or whatever it is now anyway" You are completely full of it with the following. You are showing just how little you know about matters that you speak about. "who can write off travel, entertainment, servants, trusts, many large purchases wihch can be claimed as business items, etc"
