I finally rendered an opinion on the Ish flap, and called those who made a big deal about it dopey. I even said I thought it was a clever way to make a good point, in context. I didn't take it in the same way you did in the first place, though. I have have had too many arguments with girls and "sensitive types" like coug not to know that they lose their heads too easily over rough humor. Thus, I thought the cluckery was pretty real, and that she really didn't get it in the end. Since she was confused, the apology was about as sincere as she could manage.
