Sharon is Israel's answer to Iraq's Hussein, Israel just happens to be an ally of ours for political and national security reasons (as was Saddam, until we abandoned him and he turned to the Russians, then decided Kuwait was his for the taking). Sharon's history of war atrocities and crimes is well documented in Europe, but little reported here.
